DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Mechanical Department established in the year 1997 with intake of 60. Department has been accredited by NBA in the year 2019. The department is equipped with highly sophisticated and state of the art Laboratories. The major strength of the department is its highly qualified and dedicated staff members who are competing with the globalization and striving hard to reach the academic excellence. Department is a recognized Research Centre by VTU and offers MSc Engg (by Research) & Ph.D programs. The teachers have published technical papers in the International & National refereed Journals. Both staff and students have actively participated in number of technical exhibition and won the prizes. Number of students getting placed in esteemed organizations is increasing exponentially year after year. Our recruiters are Jindal Steel Works, Kalyani Steels, Hiten Fasteners, Wopro Kawasaki and many more. Many of our students are also placed in IT industries such as TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys and HCL as software developers and quality assurance engineers.

PEO 1 . Imparting  mechanical engineering graduates with the knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering and Technology.
PEO 2.  Able  to identify,analyze and solve the engineering problems using modern tools which benefits the society and the industries.
PEO 3.  Imparting soft skills, professional attitude and ethical values along with leadership qualities.
PEO 4. To learn and adapt new technologies and skills  to became life-- long learner.
